FragStars is proud to announce that our anti-cheat software is now complete and ready for use in our leagues. You can download FAC on the files page of the game that you play. We feel that this program will be effective when it comes to catching cheaters in our leagues/tournaments.

FragStars, LLC is very happy to announce that our highly anticipated anti-cheat client is going to be released this weekend! The FAC (FragStars Anti-Cheat) program will run in the background on your computer during all FSL matches. It's compatible with all of our games, and you'll feel secure knowing that this effective tool with catch cheaters dead in their tracks.

FragStars will host both an Amateur and Professional league in TF2 for the gametype "Capture Points." FragStars.com is pleased to announce a new feature and form of competition on our website. We will now be offering amateur (FREE) leagues to the public. Every game that we will be supporting in the future (UT3, TF2, COD4, ETC) will have amateur and professional leagues. The gamers that want to play for free and win nothing will have the option to play in amateur, and gamers that pay-to-play and win big cash prizes can play in professional.

Check out the six brand new
Call of Duty 4 screenshots released on GameStop.com! The game is looking very promising and we here at FragStars cannot wait to bring you the best COD4 league ever this fall! The game is set to release on November 5th. If you're a fan of the Call of Duty series, you should check out our Call of Duty 2: Capture the Flag league opening on August 26th! You can register your team on that day and start competing the following week. The FragStars COD2 CTF league is our first ever league and it will prepare us for our COD4 leagues in November! On a side note, registration and the forums should be up very soon!
Unreal Tournament 3 Updates!

With all of the hype surrounding the upcoming game Unreal Tournament 3, also known as Unreal Tournament 2007, we felt it would be a good idea to give everyone an update on what the game has to offer. The game was recently featured at the E3 event in Santa Monica, CA. IGN was able to play the game and here is what they had to say:
"The game will include 40 maps to blast your way across, with up to 24 players on a map at any one time. That includes any number of spawned bots that you want to throw in to give you and your friends a challenge during a multiplayer map."The game sounds exciting and you can expect to see FragStars supporting it with a prize league when the game is released this November!
FragStars will launch COD2 League!

FragStars is officially launching a Call of Duty 2: Capture the Flag league this August! Enter your team and join the fun. You'll go through an 8 week season and if you're good enough, you'll make it into the playoffs. The finals match is set for November 4th (The season's end) and Call of Duty 4 will be released the day after that. Only 20 teams can sign up for this league, so sign up as soon as you can! Competition is 5 vs 5, and there is a big cash prize at stake! More information can be found on the COD2: Capture the Flag section.
